The Sakata Group provides a 3PL service to centrally manage the distribution of promotional materials for our customers using our self-developed web ordering system.

1. Features of Web ordering system for promotional things

(1) View and download necessary information in real time via the Web

  • It can be easily installed if you have a PC environment with Internet access. *1
  • The user can inquire about inventory and search for shipping history at any time and download the search results as a CSV file.
  • Since the inventory quantity is deducted when the input is confirmed, you can always browse the available inventory.

Note: *1. Recommended environment is Windows 7 or higher and Internet Explorer 11 or higher. It may not run comfortably in other environments.

(2) Control of operation authority and viewing range by ID management

  • The operating privileges and IDs are linked to control the available menus. For example, by logging in with administrator privileges, you can access the maintenance menu of the supplier master and product master, which the person in charge does not have the authority to operate.
  • The ID can be linked to the department (branch or section information) to which the operator belongs, so that only the information of the department to which the operator belongs can be inquired. This is useful when you want to allocate inventory by department in order to create a sales plan.

(3) Can be linked with the warehouse management system of the distribution base

  • It is possible to link with WMS (warehouse management system). The data entered and confirmed in the Web ordering system is automatically transferred to the database server of the WMS and can be used as shipping data. In addition, the inventory data recorded in WMS can be automatically reflected in the Web ordering system.
  • By returning the specified data from WMS after shipping, it is possible to reflect the shipping work status and waybill number in the history data. (Standard equipment when using our warehouse)
  • It can be managed even if there are multiple distribution bases.

  • By visualizing inventory and controlling the scope of access by ID, each person in charge can obtain the necessary information when needed.

  • The inventory recorded at the warehouse is posted in real time, which speeds up the confirmation process.
  • The automatic transmission of shipping instruction data can prevent missing instructions to the warehouse and missing shipments.
