“Examining and realizing work methods that reduce the burden on workers and improve productivity”
-Aiming for a worker-friendly logistics site-
Until now, in bulk shipments for each shipper, the picked and packed shipping boxes were manually sorted and inspected by workers into pallets designated by the shipping company, according to the information on the shipping tag label.
In constructing our own warehouse, Tatebayashi-Inter Warehouse of Kanto Sales Office, we aim to create a worker-friendly logistics site by eliminating picking during bulk shipments and manual sorting and inspection of shipping boxes after packaging to reduce the burden on workers. We presented the results (quantitative and qualitative results) of planning and improvement of a sorting and inspection work method using conveyors that both improves productivity and improves productivity.
