Environmental Considerations in the Installation of Solar Power Systems

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact to help build a sustainable future. As part of these efforts, we have installed on-site solar power generation systems at some of our warehouses to supplement our electricity supply with renewable energy, thereby engaging in environmentally conscious business operations.

Sakata Group Environmental Policy

Corporate philosophy

We provide high-quality 3PL services to support our clients’ business operations. At the same time, to help prevent environmental degradation—such as global warming—we are actively engaged in environmental conservation efforts, fulfilling our corporate social responsibility in environmental matters and contributing to society.

Fundamental policy

1.We will comply with environmental laws and regulations and strive to protect the environment.
2.We will improve energy efficiency—particularly in electricity use—and promote energy conservation.
3.We will continue to provide education and awareness programs on environmental conservation to our employees.
4.We will dispose of waste properly in accordance with laws and regulations and strive to prevent environmental damage caused by waste.
5.We will promote the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) for internal materials and office supplies used in our business activities, striving to reduce waste and conserve resources.
6.We will strive to prioritize the purchase of environmentally friendly products and services.
7.We will implement and maintain this policy and ensure that all employees are aware of it.

Sakata Group’s Sustainability Initiatives

At our Izumiotsu Sales Office, we collaborate with our clients to implement various sustainability initiatives. Below are some examples of our efforts and proven results.

■ Reducing CO2 Emissions from Electricity Consumption

  • By reviewing our power supply plans, we have transitioned to using CO2-free electricity effectively derived from renewable energy sources.
  • Since joining the new plan in January 2023, we have substantially reduced CO2 emissions from our electricity usage.
