On August 9, 2026, Sakata Warehouse / Sakata Group collaborated with students (hereinafter “seminar students”) belonging to the seminar of Associate Professor Takami Iwai of the Faculty of Business Administration at Kindai University (Higashiosaka City), to plan and hold an experiential workshop where participants could learn the importance of supply chain management and recycling, at “Eco World Fes 2026,” hosted by Osaka ATC Green Eco Plaza (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City).
■ Contents of the Iwai Seminar Collaborative Workshop
Under the theme “The Great Transformation Project that Connects Things!! – Carry, Create, Deliver –,” approximately 50 elementary school children and their parents took part.
This workshop was an experiential program planned by the seminar students for elementary school children, based on the content of our company’s SWGs (Sustainable Well-being Goals) activities. Through a hands-on craft activity of collecting discarded materials and turning them into new items, participants enjoyed learning about the importance of supply chain management and recycling. Through “Raku-Raku Soko®,” which forms the foundation of this experience, we aim to optimize the entire supply chain and realize our SWGs.
Through initiatives like this one, we will continue to deepen understanding of our efforts in logistics, supply chain management, the local community, and the environment, and create new value together with our stakeholders.
