Our company, Sakata Warehouse,Inc., was founded in 1914 and has been providing logistics services, mainly warehousing, for over a century.
As part of our 110th anniversary project, we are pleased to announce that we will be starting construction of a new Tatebayashi Interchange Warehouse of Kanto Sales Office.
The new warehouse is located in Itakura-machi, Gunma Prefecture, about 60 minutes from Tokyo by car or train, and will be built as its own warehouse on a plot of land (about 4,100 tsubo) in the “Itakura New Town Industrial Site” developed and sold by the prefecture.
The warehouse will have a total floor area of approximately 5,300 tsubo, and is scheduled to begin operations in January 2023 as a state-of-the-art distribution/logistics center capable of transporting and delivering goods not only to the Tokyo metropolitan area and its five prefectures (Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Ibaraki, and Gunma prefectures), but also to all of eastern Japan, as well as western Japan.
